It’s time to give your skin some TLC

As the cold weather slogs on for many, it may be taking a toll on your skin, despite all your efforts to protect it from the bitter, biting winds outside and the dry heat inside.

Whether you’re fighting a daily battle with cold air or your weather is on the milder side year round, it’s a good idea every three or four months to give your skin a little extra TLC.

Daily stressors

Just consider the environmental stressors you encounter each day—from harmful UV rays to pollution to the pressures of a hectic life. Your skin is vulnerable to it all, making it susceptible to ongoing damage that can affect its ability to recover naturally and lead to premature signs of aging.

How do you fight it? A good daily skincare regimen is key, including daily washing, toning, treating and moisturizing along with good nutrition, drinking lots of water and getting enough sleep.

Intensive treatment

In addition, research has shown that an intensive restoration treatment is essential in maintaining healthy looking skin. Just like making regular dentist appointments, you should schedule regular treatments for your skin, but they don’t have to be done at a spa or dermatologist’s office.

A woman opens one of the vials from her Artistry Intensive Skincare 14-night restore program.

The Artistry™ Intensive Skincare 14-night restore program offers benefits comparable to a professional photo-facial skin rejuvenation treatment right in your own home.* It targets fine lines and wrinkles, environmental harm, moisture content, skin texture and dullness.

You simply add it to your evening skincare routine for two weeks.

Give skin a boost

“Even with a regular skincare routine, your skin needs a recharge and restoration every three to four months,” said Kim Malewitz, director for global skincare at Amway. “Artistry Intensive Skincare 14 night restore program provides you with a periodic, concentrated, repair treatment to revive and restore your skin to a youthful looking state.

“It repairs the appearance of damage while it resets the skin’s capacity for future repair. Plus, the treatment boosts the skin’s response to daily skincare products.”
